Mission and Values

Mission:

At WellHome Psychology, our mission is to provide compassionate, culturally centered, evidence-based, and trauma-informed therapy to individuals, couples, and families across 10 Northwest Indiana counties and the Fort Wayne area. We are committed to expanding equitable access to high-quality, ethical mental health care by offering flexible options—including telehealth, private in-home, and community-based sessions—for those facing barriers such as time constraints, financial strain, cultural stigma, or limited local resources.

Beyond therapy, we work to remove systemic and practical barriers that prevent people from accessing the care they need to feel safe, seen, and supported in the world. We advocate for clients' whole-person wellness by assisting with accommodations, accessibility services, emotional support animal documentation, FMLA support, medication management, and coordination of care. We value a holistic approach that honors the mind-body connection and supports sustainable, long-term healing.

We strive to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and promote a safe and affirming culture where seeking support is seen as a strength. At the heart of our work is a deep respect for human dignity and the power of a collaborative, mutually respectful therapeutic relationship. WellHome Psychology is dedicated to fostering autonomy, advocating for social justice, and helping build a more compassionate, accessible, and inclusive world.

Values Statement:

At WellHome Psychology, we are guided by the following core values:
Compassion & Cultural Responsiveness: We honor the lived experiences and identities of every individual and provide care that is culturally centered, respectful, and affirming.
Accessibility & Equity: We believe everyone should have access to the care they need to feel safe, supported, and able to heal—regardless of their circumstances.
Holistic Wellness: We value a whole-person approach that supports the mind-body connection and long-term, sustainable change.
Collaboration: We view therapy as a partnership built on trust, mutual respect, and shared goals between client and provider.
Empowerment & Resilience: We help clients recognize their strengths, build self-awareness, and move toward meaningful growth.
Destigmatization: We actively work to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health, fostering a culture where well-being is a priority and asking for help is normalized.
Integrity & Advocacy: We are committed to ethical practice, transparency, and advocating for the needs of our clients within systems and communities.
