Comprehensive Psychological Evaluations
You may be looking for answers — or at least a clearer understanding of what’s going on.
Maybe you’ve noticed patterns that don’t quite make sense, ongoing challenges that haven’t improved, or concerns that keep coming up at home, school, or work. You might be wondering whether something more is going on, or if an evaluation could help bring clarity.
It can feel overwhelming not knowing where to start — or whether you’re asking the right questions.
You’re not alone in that.
Our goal is not just to provide a diagnosis, but to offer meaningful insight, clear direction, and practical recommendations that support next steps in care, education, or daily life.
At WellHome Psychology, we offer structured, evidence-based evaluations designed to provide clarity, diagnostic understanding, and meaningful direction.
Evaluations are conducted by a licensed clinical psychologist and are available for children (ages 3+), adolescents, and adults.
We provide a range of evaluation services, including:
Depending on the evaluation, the process may include:
All evaluations are self-pay and reflect the time and expertise required for thorough assessment, interpretation, and report writing. Superbill documentation is available for clients seeking possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Our evaluation process is tiered, meaning the scope of testing is matched to your specific needs — from focused diagnostic clarification to comprehensive, multi-domain assessments.
Our goal is not just to provide a diagnosis, but to offer clear answers, practical recommendations, and a path forward. We take a thoughtful, trauma-informed approach to ensure evaluations are not only accurate, but respectful of the individual’s full experience.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOu:
You get clear guidance from the start — so your evaluation is thoughtfully matched to your needs.
Your evaluation will include a combination of clinical interviews, standardized testing, and, when appropriate, observations, record review, or input from caregivers, schools, or other providers. Some portions of the evaluation may be conducted virtually when appropriate.
All evaluations are conducted by a licensed clinical psychologist and follow a structured, evidence-based process.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOu:
Your results are thorough, flexible, and based on multiple sources — not just a single appointment.
You’ll receive a detailed written report along with a feedback session to review findings, answer questions, and discuss recommendations.
When appropriate, results may support treatment planning, school or workplace accommodations, or coordination with other providers.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOu:
You leave with clear answers, practical recommendations, and a confident path forward.
Evaluations can feel like a big step — and it’s normal to have questions about the process, cost, timelines, and what to expect. Below are answers to some of the most common questions. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, contact us with your question at [email protected].
You don’t have to figure that out on your own. We’ll guide you toward the appropriate evaluation type and tier based on your concerns, goals, and the level of detail needed.
Referrals may come from a physician, psychiatrist, therapist, school, or other professional. However, a referral is not required — many clients choose to self-refer when seeking clarity or diagnostic insight. If you are a provider and would like to refer someone, you can find our referral form here.
We provide evaluations for children (ages 3+), adolescents, and adults.
That’s okay. We can help you determine whether an evaluation is the right next step or if another service may be a better fit.
We offer ADHD evaluations, comprehensive psychological and neurodevelopmental assessments, parenting evaluations (including court-involved), and pre-adoptive/adoption readiness evaluations.
A fitness for duty evaluation is a structured assessment used to determine whether an individual can safely and effectively perform their job responsibilities, often in safety-sensitive roles.
Parenting evaluations assess parenting strengths, stressors, and parent-child dynamics. They may be used for treatment planning, family support, or court-related purposes.
We offer both non-forensic and court-involved parenting evaluations, including consultation-level, comprehensive, and court-related assessments with structured documentation and reporting.
Adoption readiness evaluations are strengths-based assessments used to determine emotional preparedness, stability, and readiness for adoption. These are often required by agencies or courts.
Most evaluations are completed within approximately 2–6 weeks, depending on the type of evaluation and scheduling.
