Rates and Insurance

WellHome Psychology is in-network with many insurance plans throughout Indiana, allowing many clients to pay between $0–$55 per session, depending on their benefits.

We also welcome self-pay clients, with rates of $240 for initial intake sessions and $175 for ongoing therapy sessions.

Sliding Scale

We offer a sliding fee scale for clients who qualify as part of our commitment to accessible care. We can assist you in estimating your rate prior to your first appointment.

HSA/FSA

You may be able to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to cover the cost of therapy. These accounts can typically be used similarly to a credit card.

We are also happy to provide any documentation needed to support reimbursement or use of these funds.

Out-of-Pocket Payment

Many clients are surprised to find that paying out of pocket can be more manageable than expected. While costs vary based on individual circumstances, meaningful progress is often made in a relatively short period of time.

We accept all major credit cards and offer payment plans when appropriate.

Financial Responsibility & Payment Policy

Clients are responsible for all fees not covered by insurance, including co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, and non-covered services.

If a balance remains unpaid for more than 90 days and no payment arrangements have been made, WellHome Psychology may pursue collection through appropriate legal channels. This may include the use of a collection agency or small claims court. In such cases, only the minimum necessary information will be disclosed as permitted by law.

Accepted Insurance:

Your insurance plan may cover services in full or in part. Accepted insurance plans may vary by provider within WellHome Psychology, and coverage is determined by your individual policy and benefits. We encourage you to review your benefits and understand your financial responsibility, including co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles, which are due at the time of service.

To better understand your coverage, consider asking:

→ Uncertainty about whether medication is needed
→ Do I have mental health benefits?
→ What is my deductible, and has it been met?
→ How many sessions per calendar year are covered?
→ What is my co-pay or co-insurance per session?
→ What is the coverage for out-of-network providers?
→ Is prior authorization required?

We Accept:

→ Cash
→ Check
→ All major credit cards
→ HSA/FSA accounts
→ Venmo, PayPal, CashApp, Zelle, and Apple Pay

Payment plans are available for evaluations and testing upon application.

Cancellation Policy

Getting started is simple.
We understand that schedules can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments (no-shows), may be subject to a fee. This allows us to respect our clinicians’ time and offer availability to other clients in need of services.

If unexpected circumstances arise, we encourage you to communicate with your provider as soon as possible. We aim to approach these situations with flexibility while maintaining consistency in our policies.
